hemorrhoids at night

I have Hemorrohoids since my last child. When they act up, it is usually in the middle of the night and?
nothing seems to help except to sit in a shallow tub of super hot water, keeping the water as hot as I can. Usually after about 30 minutes, I can get out. I apply VICK’S VAPOR RUB. Has anyone ever used this? and Can it hurt you to use it rectally? Plus do hemorrhoids usually happen at night??
what do you think the Vick’s does for you?the hot water is good.try making sure your stools are soft(not diarrhea),drink lots of water,keep your anal area clean ,use hemorrhoid cream before bed time,it reduces swelling
