blood after going to the bathroom and vomiting?

Okay, I have been having issues (a lot) with my stomach lately, went to the er yesterday after I was vomiting blood. They said they thought it was a hernia, but to follow up with PCP. They gave me Pepcid and sent me on my way. They didn’t address my fever, chills, or body aches. Today as I went to the bathroom (2), there was a lot of blood. I don’t believe it was hemorrhoids as I have had them before and it was different. Also it seems weird timing that it happened the day after vomiting blood. Could a hernia cause this?

No, but an ulcer can cause both. You definitely need to see a doctor, before anything serious occurs.
