nursing diagnosis for a patient with hemorrhoids?

hi there, just need help make a nursing diagnoses. i need to do a care plan for a pt. with hemorrhoids. i need to have at least 3 diagnoses. can anyone please help me.

Hi, I’m a nursing student too. I don’t know how much you already know, but if you follow the basic format for a diagnosis it shouldn’t be too difficult to come up with a couple on your own. The basic 3-part (PES) statement is the one I find the easiest, but I dont know if you need to write a specific one.
Problem – Etiology – Sign/Symptom
Problem r/t etiology as manifested by (AMB) S/S.

So, if I had to write a nursing diagnosis (not a NIC/NOC) I would probably write this:
“Potential for constipation related to distended blood vessels in the anus as evidenced by pain during bowel elimination”

I was taught that when writing a nursing diagnosis, you shouldn’t state the actual medical diagnosis in the nursing diagnosis. You basically write the potential problem (or the actual, wellness, etc.) then you write why this might be a problem and how you know or why you think it will be a problem. That’s the basic format I go by, but again I dont know what your school/professor prefers that you learn.
