I have an eight year old female, maltese.
we keep her hair short. and for some reason recently her private part has gotten really red and it looks like she has a rash and its all swollen. she’s constantly licking it. and every time we catch her doing it we try to stop her. and we just tried to cut the hair around her private part and she freaked out and wouldnt let us. and her private area looks like she has like two bumps on it.
can someone please tell me was we should do?
what kind of cream or lotion can we put on her so that she wont make it worse and hopefully get rid the irritation she has.
Sometimes certain breads of female dogs get this problem when they get older. She has glands back there,sent glands that get plugged up. She is in a lot of pain. I would get her to the Vet so he can drain them.
I think that my colonoscopy cause a external hemorrhoid…i did not have one before the procedure?

I would say that it is possible. If you are worried, you should contact your doctor. Hemorrhoids usually go away after awhile. In the meantime try to avoid excessive straining.
