Question about hemorrhoids?

I had a stomach virus about 5 days ago. Ever since that, the crack of my butt is hurting so bad. I have 2 flesh colored skin tags hanging from the inside of my anus and it hurts when I walk. What could it be and what should I use for it? I feel alot of pressure from it.

Probably hemorrhoids, especially if you had to strain a lot when sick. Apply some prep. H externally, unless theyre big, and if so, I reccomend seeing a physician who can treat them with other means.

i got 2 little hemorrhoids help!?

last week i discovered that i got 2 hemorrhoids, i don’t know why i got them probably because i’m sitting down all day… i eat fiber and i dont get constipated or anything like that. Satuday i bought preparation H and one of the hemorrhoids is going down but the other one is bleeding… is this suppouse to happen? or should i just go to the doctor what other hemorrhoid medicine works the best

Yes they can bleed, you will have to keep up the cream for at least one week. You might also consider eating a few prunes everyday to soften the stool. You eat fiber which will bulk the stool up, but if the bulk is large than it could be causing this problem when you evacuate the bowel. Therefore soften the stool with a few prunes, say two to start with and then see how you get on. If their is no improvement in a week, see a Doc. Best of Luck

Sounds like piles to me. You may not have the pain of the haemorrhoid yet but there could be something happening inside. I suffered terribly from piles during pregnancy, so get it checked see if you can take Lactulose and just eat a high fibre diet.
Don’t know what the OP means when she says doc can treat it painlessly, nothing painless when piles pop out for a visit.

If it’s not piles then it could be something to do with pressure from wherever the baby is lying.
My sis has just been checked out for rectal bleeding, they checked her for polyps? so maybe consider that.

But I think rectal bleeding is one of those things that we must get checked out so get yourself to the doc

hemorrhoids please answer?

OK I no I have them internally because i went to the Doctor, but should I be feeling pain after a BM the lasts about 3-4 hours? Its not bad at first but then gets worse and then slowly goes away again. I have been using tucks pads and preparation H, but its seems like its getting worse.

Had them for years and finally went to the doc referred me to a specialist and had them banded yea its not fun but its also quick and will help out tremendously. Also a biggie is take fiber EVERYDAY a must, get you some metamucil and drink it twice a day, i still have a small one and when i miss a day i can tell bigtime. Need any help with questions ask me ive done about 5 procedures and about 90% cured will do another soon but again fiber a must. For now you can sit in a tub of hot water to help out after a BM but sounds like you need the banding done, good luck i know its a pita and painful.

I have blood in my stools…help.?

I have had blood in my stools off and on since I was 21. I am now 36. Last year I had a colonoscopy and an upper GI and all the doctor found was a hemorrhoid. He gave me cream and I use it regularly. However, I always get these bloody stools, usually once a month and around the time of my menstrual cycle. (The blood is coming from my anus, though). Anyway, it is always medium red in color, the entire toilet bowl turns red (not pink), and it is clotty. Today it was so bad that blood soaked the toilet paper when I wiped. The blood occurs whether I have a bowel movement or not. It is so weird…I usually feel a pain or fullness in my lower abdomen or I experience acid reflux and then it is usually relived afterward. I am not certin if this is all due to my hemorrhoid, but have a feeling that is all the doctor will attribute it toward. Any ideas if this could be anything else?
I don’t eat spicy foods and my stools are always soft…I never have hard stools.

Had em for yrs, be there done that, got operated on, believe me, you do not want surgery.

Today’s method is, remember when at school you put a rubber band on finger and watched it turn blue-purple, same with above, doctors put rubber band around the H and presto after couple of weeks, falls off, self-healing in process, medical science is marvelous, too bad they didn’t work that out before my surgery.

I asked the nurse, how can you tell who’s had the operation?
