Why does my kitten have a swollen bum? and blood on behind?
He is 9 weeks old and full of energy. His poops are pretty wet and gooey, and he often steps on them. But anyway, Sometimes we wipe his bum and find a bit of blood on the paper. And when you look at his bum it is a bit swollen.. could that be hemorrhoids or another problem? He was at the vet recently, because we just got him 3 days ago.. so i’m not sure what it could be.

Okay thanks for all of the suggestions. I just took him to the vet and am back already. He may have diarrea from the stress of moving into a new home. So the vet game me some fluids to give her. Overall she said he was a very helpful kitten.

what are you feeding him? is he getting solid foods yet? if I were you, I’d give him some chicken cut up small and maybe mix it with rice cooked with broth instead of water. I’d also call the vet and get a professional’s opinion.

Every time after i go #2 i always seem to have seepage from my anus, i wipe really good the first time and its like it never gets clean because of this problem…so i do it as best as i can and carry on by i get an irritation down there and have to go back in the bathroom and re-wipe…i do get occasional hemorrhoids could this be the cause of it or could it be something else or more severe?
