has anyone had hemorrhoid surgery what was recovery like?
Hello! It all depends upon how the hemorrhoid’s removed. Have you already have it done? If not, I will tell you a little bit about the procedure.
Before removing the hemorrhoid, you may decide if you want a local or general anesthesia. You will lie down in a position that exposes your rectum. A surgery may be performed with a knife, laser or cautery pencil. Incision will be made around the hemorrhoid and the veins will be tied to prevent bleeding and the hemorrhoid cut off. Your wound will be probably sewn but can be left open as well. They may out some gauze over it.
You will get all the necessary information about how to act after the operation. You may be given painkillers, stool softeners, advised on a diet and hot tubs to relieve the pain.
You will be able to drive within a week but full recovery won’t be until the 2nd or 3rd week. Some patients even take up to 2 months. Don’t lift anything heavy until you heal!

What are symptoms of Hemorrhoids?
Ihave a 4 wek old bub and I was getting extrremly constipated. I fixed that up now for the last 2 weeks when I have had to poop the stool is soft but i near go through the roof. It feels as though I am pooping razor blades. It is a stinging and tearing sensation. When I wipe myself there is bright red blood like a period but in the wrong spot.I have got my hubby to see if anything is hanging out and he said there is nothing there. What is wrong with me and is there a cure. I want to be able to pooh in peace again.
Sorry for being so graphic
It’s very common to get hemorrhoids from childbirth. Hemorrhoids are a varicose vein in your recturm. You’ll need to eat high fiber, whole grain foods, plenty of water, even taking metamucil or pericolace to help have a bowel movement. Your bowels are still hard and they are ripping against your rectum. That is why your see bright red bood. You may even feel like you have swelling. Take frequent sitz baths to relieve the pain. I remember the same feeling! It will get better as your body continues to heal from childbirth. You could also try some hemorrhoid cream so you won’t feel the tearing and the sore, itchy feeling afterward.
