I never thought I would miss bending down or simply sitting comfortably.
After having such darlings for over 35 years I have become used to their peculiarities. I’ve learned there are times when YOU do NOT bend down and you don’t even try to sit down and there are times when you do not even walk. Ah yes… life… ain’t it grand!
p.s. having a soft pillow in the car to sit on helps.
I am a 19 year old female. When i was 16 I first began noticing a small amount of blood in the toilet water whenever i went to the restroom. I immediately went to my pediatrician and they checked for anal fissures and hemorrhoids, and said I had neither but the stool samples they took also showed I had bleeding they could not see. They never told me anything more and since they were not concerned neither was i.
I am now 19 and I still have this problem on and off but still quite frequently. I find that I have a moderate amount of blood in my stool, as well as clots sometimes and blood in the toilet water. I have NEVER had any pain when I have bled from this. The past couple of days I have noticed my stools are now a VERY dark black, and today I began bleeding from my anus without even passing a stool. And the bleeding was a very bright red, but wasn’t very much. Once again, still no pain.
Please help me!
As I like to say again and again, Yahoo! is not a doctors office. If you think you have a problem that warrants seeing a doctor then you probably should. If you want, the best thing you can do is call your local hospital emergency room and ask for the nurse line. You may be on hold for a while but you will get information from someone who is actually QUALIFIED to. If there is still doubt, see a doctor.
I have suffered with extremely itchy hemorrhoids for 30 years.?
I am too embarrassed to ask my doctor about a cure. What can I do to end this problem once and for all?
Hi Princess,
Wow! 30 years is a long time. You really need to put an end to this suffering. With that said, please go speak to your doctor. I can almost guarantee you, that your doctor has seen this numerous times before (nothing to be ashamed of).
How to Get Rid of Itchy and Painful Hemorrhoids in Just 48 Hours
This is totally embarassing to me to ask this After having my daughter, I developed hemorrhoids. Something that happens to a lot of women but one part of giving birth most don’t talk about. It is EXTREMELY painful to have bowel movements and I don’t know what to do about it!
Anyone have any remedies that will CURE this awful pain and get rid of the baby piles all together?
Ill start off by explaining what happened…. I had some really bad stomach pains, which turned in to diarehha. All night long I had it, it was like nothing I had ever had before, I wont get into details
But during that and wiping alot I noticed blood on the tp and i knew it was hemorrhoids. The bleeding stopped and I went to bed and I was feeling better. Now its been about a week and I noticed that when I went to the bathroom I saw what looked like a blood clot in the toilet but I did not go poo I passed gas in the toilet though. Is that normal? I also have been extremely gassy as well, it might be because I am trying to eat more fiber in order to prevent hemorrhoids. Has anyone else experienced this? I am a little worried because you never know what it could be. I am also kinda embarrassed to talk to the doctor about it to
I am suffering from painful hemorrhoids. How do I poop or move my bowels?
The home remedies comprise of consuming fiber-rich foods, high in iron and water. Don’t get constipated as far as possible. Drink plenty of water and consume plenty of green leafy vegetables.

Yesterday (Sunday morning) I went to the Doc in the Box for incredibly painful hemorrhoids. He gave me localized Novocaine, made a small incision, and removed blood clots from it. He then said I’d be fine to go to class the next day.
Well today I’m still in a lot of pain each time the Norco wears off, and had to stay home. Also, the hemorrhoid is still pretty large looking (I didn’t see how large it was before).
Is it normal for me to still be in pain more than 24 hours later? I’m pretty comfortable when the meds are kicking in, and I’m not screaming in pain when they wear off, but it’s definitely too painful to drive, walk across campus, or sit in class without the meds.
Just wondering if this sounds about right, and how long it will be before most of the pain is gone, since I only have enough Norco for the rest of the day.
Thanks Sweet. He did give me a prescription Lidocaine ointment, and I’m drinking tons of water and getting fiber for just the reasons you said!
Since he made an incision on your hemorrhoid of course it’s going to be painful for a few days. That would be like any other cut except it is in a sensitive place. It might help to not walk or sit on it for a few days. Or you can get some topical ointment that has a numbing agent in it to put on the area. Another thing that will probably help is to take a high fiber supplement like Metamucil to be sure that your stool comes out easily.
I am 39 weeks today, and have been suffering with many different issues for over a month now. I am pre-clamptic, have LOTS of water weight, a high level of amniotic fluid, and hemorrhoids so bad that I will have to have surgury on them after I deliver.
I am debating on asking my doctor to just go ahead and perform the c-section b/c I don’t want to put any more stress or pain on my rectum. He has been talking about inducing me as soon as my cervix softens or i start to dialate. Well, baby has not made any attempt to drop, nor have I softened or dialated.
So, with this information, what would you do?
Did you ask you doc for a c-section? What was the response?
Do I have the right to ask for the c-section, and him have to comply?
If i was in your case i would ask for a c-section…If he denies it then ask him to expain why…..I have to have a c-section because i had a previous surgery(fistula and fissure) and since the surgery was done wrong the first time my chances of tearing or having problems was high…And i had my OB appt today and he said that it would be way stressful on my body and cause more problems later on esp if i want to have more kids(which i do) Anyway, you def dont want to put anymore stress on ur body then you are already and result in more complications later down the road!….I would def express your conern to your doc…and soon before you do go into labor and regret not asking!
