What are the best home based treatments for hemorrhoids?
It would be nice to sit down without having an assache. Any suggestions?
It’s called a sitz bath. Put enough water in the tub just to cover the bottom of your legs and sit in the warm water. If it starts to cool drain in and put more warm water in. 20-30 minutes several times a week. pat dry. If you need something for “friction” use petroleum jelly.
how long will a hemorrhoid last without treatment?
Im a “virgin” to Hemorrhoids, and i think i may have an internal one, from what i have read. Some sites say they’ll clear up in up to two months, others a week, im just wondering because the pain is annoying me, im neglecting doing certain things such as bending over, getting up because this is when it hurts most. So how long should i wait before I see a Doctor? What can I do EASILY to help it on its way? By this I mean I dont have time for 4 small baths every day, like some places suggest. I could really just use some guidance.
One of the best ways to help heal an internal hemorrhoid is with Preparation H suppositories or ointment. It decreases the swelling and pain while it helps heal the hemorrhoids. I’d give the Preparation H a few days to work, otherwise if it continues to hurt after that or you have a lot of blood in your stool, then get in to see your doctor.
You can treat hemorrhoids without surgery when you take away “everything” that causes pressure on the blood vesselss that supply the muscles around the anus:
-most commonly: change your lifestyle to make sure you have loose stools in stead of diarrhea like J M or constipation that caused my hemorrhoids
-go toilet when you feel the urge and don’t keep it up:stoolss will only become harder and you will use more pressure toexpell them
-never strain yourself on the toilet
-lose weight if you are overweight
-don’t take medication that cause bleeding (Aspirine) to ease the pain.

Getting Rid of Hemorrhoids – Natural Treatment That Works
Hemorrhoids 5 months after labor and they keep coming back. Solution?
I have had hemorrhoids since I was in the hospital, a few days after having my baby. I know this is normal, but I can’t get rid of them. They go away for a while, but then they come back. They have just come back again, but for the first time, they are internal instead of external and they are causing extreme pain during and after using the restroom. Does anyone know what the best product or remedy to stop them?
Drink lots of water, and walk…the water and exercise keeps everything moving so you won’t stop up, which causes straining, making hemorrhoids worse, warm tub baths and avoiding sitting on hard surfaces helps too.
