Is it possible that I may have hemorrhoids later in life?
This is a serious question so serious answers please. About a year ago when I went to the toilet, when I was wiping my bottom, I noticed that there was bumps in my anal sphincter. I wanted to be able to visibly see this, but since it is in an area that vision can’t reach, I used a mirror.
There was blue to purple bumps all around where my sphincter muscle is, being a year on it remains unchanged, I don’t have any pain nor bleeding unless I have wiped too hard or used rough toilet paper. There should be skin there, not bumps right.
I am reluctant to go to the doctor being such a sensitive issue, but I would go if this was considered serious.

everyone has hemorrhoids. it,s when they get ruptured is when they bleed. you are like thousands of other people in the world, they have them too and you don,t have to be old either. i know what your talking about because i have them too. you need more fiber in your diet and less meat and drink plenty of fluids but not so much coffee.

I think I have hemorrhoids. I don’t eat veggies much, so I’m used to constipation (it sounds gross, I know). There is a really small bump that doesnt look noticeable, but I can feel it. When I poop, it hurts a lot. Otherwise it doesn’t really bother me too much.
I was wondering if it ever really goes away. People are saying it NEVER goes away? Then how do I live with it?! Also, it is really minor but its been a few days so I was wondering if I should see a doctor anytime soon… Basically, will it ever heal by itself and disappear? Help please!
hemmorhoids once they form do not go away, they have to be surgically removed. You can treat them with things like preparation H or Annusol suppositories, but you would be far and away better off if you would simply drink more water to avoid the constipation that irritates the hemmorhoid and makes it swell in the first place. the body needs a minimum of two quarts of water daily. Of course if you ignore what your body is telling you, eventually the hemmorhoid will grow to enormous proportions and then it will have to be surgically removed… not a lot of fun.

I am a guy just 15 rite now and i have hemorrhoids. I just realized that today after 2 days of pain in my behind. my hemorrhoids is not big its small and its bleeding a bit and i was wondering if it was normal for me to have hemorrhoids because i told my mom and she said that you only get hemorrhoids when you are old and she was shocked that i have hemorrhoids….??!!! Be careful not to strain, or push too hard when you do go to the bathroom. Warm baths are good…Preparation H… stool softener (colace)…drink water…eat healthier (fiber, veggies). Are you on any medication? Some medications cause constipation.
See your doctor if you find you’re not feeling any relief after trying the Preparation H. Bleeding down there should not be ignored.

I am 16 and a cross country runner, and I have a hemorrhoid, and it is very painful.
It hurts mostly when I walk, but when I start running the pain sort of goes away but it still bothers me.
I am currently using Preparation H (been using it for about a day now), and it does reduce the size of my external hemorrhoid, but I still have a little pain.
Will it eventually go away if I keep the area clean? And will sweat effect the hemorrhoid because in cross country I get very sweaty.
you should go to the doctor. he can make them disapear without a painful operation, it just takes 5 minutes. my husband had it done once, and it is better than leaving them.

Hemorrhoids are caused by small veins in the anus filling and becoming engorged with blood due to straining while trying to pass a motion.
They may go back up into the anus and are called internal hemorrhoids. When they come out, and they may stay out, they are called prolapsed hemorrhoids.
You can fix the problem by increasing the fibre in your diet. Drinking lot’s of water and incorporating daily exercise. Such as walking.
This will help prevent straining when trying to move your bowels.
You can obtain hemorrhoid ointment which contains local anesthetic if they hurt and something to help them shrink.
Once you have them, they tend to remain.
If they are severe you can have them surgically removed. But they will return again if straining occurs.
Women who are pregnant usually do not get away without getting hemorrhoids during pregnancy.
I had them when i was in 7th grade i think. It bled for a while. It smelt funny back there. and it hurt like heck!. I think i pulled on it to and riped part of it off and scratched some off with those netty looking washer things. Any who….now i have something that doesn’t bleed its a little discomforting; but not extremely painful like when i was younger. Doesn’t smell….I don’t think. Didn’t really seem to hurt while using the bathroom, but i didn’t want to wipe i was a little scared. So i took a shower. No blood, no smell, no extreme pain, but a little discomfort. And if it is a hemorrhoid…what precautions should i take?

First-degree hemorrhoids: Hemorrhoids that bleed but do not prolapse.
Second-degree hemorrhoids: Hemorrhoids that prolapse and retract on their own (with or without bleeding).

So far the only thing I’m doing is drinking lots of water and eat fiber but it’s been 9 days and my stool has mixed with bright red blood. Could this be just hemorrhoid or something else?
Any bleeding or pain coming from the anus should be checked by a professional to rule out more serious conditions.
Bleeding and/or pain from the anal channel does not only relate to hemorrhoids or piles it can also be caused by much more serious conditions such as cancer or polyps (small growths in the anal channel).

I want serious answers please. I want to know how many hemorrhoids a person can possibly have. Is there a limit, or can someone have a 100 hemorrhoids? Can 100 hemorrhoids fit in the anus region?

This IS a serious answer. There is no actual number of hemmorhoids that can fit into the anal region. Hemmorhoids can be both external (visible on your anus) or internal (visible only with a colonoscopy or palpable by an internal exam). So, since there are hundreds or thousands of veins in the anal/rectal area, there can be as many hemmorhoids. I hope this helps.
